Turkish Airways now offers nonstop flights between Toronto and Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines (THY) will begin flights to Toronto on July 11, 2009. The Turkish carrier will fly from Istanbul to Toronto three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Planes bound from Istanbul to Toronto will take off from the Ataturk Airport at 11:30 a.m. Turkish local time and arrive in Toronto at 3:40 p.m. EDT the same day. Flights from Toronto to Istanbul will take off at 11:50 p.m. and arrive at the Ataturk Airport at 5:30 p.m. Turkish local time the following day.
